Myself - 27yrs, wife 9may as well be), mum, teacher, a love/hate relationship with both food and exercise
Oponent - Food and occasionally myself.
I could write a battle plan write now on my strategies to attack my oponent and it might look something like the following:
But what I have learnt over my years of dieting and trying to win this battle I have with food is. . . . . . . . . . . .
That the real strategy to winning is not planning in the sense of working through an established list, but rather that winning requires quick and appropriate responses to changing conditions.
Changes can happen at any time - a night out with the girls, a weekend away, dinner at a friend's house, a morning tea that has been put on at work, birthdays, celebrations, etc.
This is often where my oponent uses sneaky tactics that cause me to put on weight and my plan of attack goes out the window.
How I will deal with these changing conditions will vary according to the situation, but most of it is about self control and not giving into my oponent.
However I am now armed with the upper hand in the battle, as part of my plan of attack is knowing that these changes can happen at anytime and yes, while they may have the power to throw me off the bandwagon, I will not let them.
Cheers to a good week and gaining ground in winning the weightloss battle!
